Sam Mullally
3d Modeling
Ever since I could hold a crayon, I have been creating. I have taken several different courses throughout my life, ranging from traditional life drawing and messy ceramics to eventually settling within the dynamics of digital design. My love for animation began with Disney's Treasure Planet in 2002. Since then, I have been captivated by the process of fusing 2D and 3D animation styles in hybrid films.
In 2017, I moved to southeast Georgia to attend the Savannah College of Art and Design, and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Animation in May 2021.
I specialize in 3D character modeling, focusing on how to transfer 2D styles into 3D models. I can talk for hours about modeling in Maya and sculpting in ZBrush. I like to keep most of my workflow simple and clean, making sure my models meet the requirements for all other departments (i.e., rigging, production, etc.)
