In March 2021, I was presented with the challenge to fully learn Zbrush. Having dabbled in the program for part of my 3D rendition of Kayla Marquez's character Valkari, I wanted to take more time to focus on finer details and create a more "realistic" character.

Character Call-Outs

During concept creation, I was tasked with finding references for prop and texture details. While searching for the right "executioner's hood" I stumbled upon Dorian Navarre, an Australian live-action role-player who had created the exact outfit I envisioned my character wearing.

Color Schemes:

Originally I was drawn to the red from Navarre's tunic and decided to use a primary color scheme. But I can't help myself when it comes to teal and orange.
